Developing human resources
The development of training projects for the human resources of the municipalities in this region is also an AML competence.
The work carried out within the scope of municipal and inter-municipal professional training aims to develop skills, innovation and knowledge by investing in the training of workers in the municipalities of the Lisbon metropolitan area.
The investment is made through the promotion and development of a training plan in thematic areas according to expressed and current needs.
Training activities are regularly publicized on the AML website and by sending information to the training and human resources services of each municipality, as well as on AML's social networks.
Registration for training courses must be carried out by the municipalities' training services, as provided for in the AML training regulations.
Training activities
Since 2003, AML has been providing professional, municipal, and intermunicipal training for public sector employees in its 18 municipalities.
At AML, we prioritize quality, innovation, and the promotion of reflection and discussion, with the aim of equipping municipal employees in the Lisbon metropolitan area to perform better in their professional roles while also fostering their personal development.
