Amadora

It was the first municipality created in the post-25 April period, on September 11, 1979.
From prehistory to the 21st century, man has occupied the territory now known as Amadora, putting it to various uses.
The existing heritage of the municipality of Amadora is based on a set of buildings of historical, cultural, architectural and urbanistic value of obvious municipal interest, which safeguard and preserve the memory and history of its area and its people.
