Executive committee takes office at Lisbon Metropolitan Council meeting on November 25

The second ordinary meeting of the Lisbon Metropolitan Council, for the 2021-2025 mandate, will be held tomorrow, November 25, at 11:45 a.m., at the headquarters of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, located at Rua Cruz de Santa Apolónia, 23 and 25A, in Lisbon.

At the meeting, which will take place in person, the following work will be carried out:

" Deliberation on the amendment to the Rules of Procedure of the Lisbon Metropolitan Council;

" Information on the economic and financial situation of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area as of June 30, 2021 (auditor);

" Presentation of the 3rd quarter report of TML - Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa;

" Communication of other matters of interest to the Lisbon Metropolitan Area;

" Holding the swearing-in ceremony of the Lisbon Metropolitan Executive Committee, 2021-2025 mandate (following the vote on the ordered list of candidates for membership of the Lisbon Metropolitan Executive Committee, held on November 22).

The Metropolitan Council, according to the statute of inter-municipal entities, is the decision-making body of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, made up of the mayors of the 18 municipalities that make up the metropolitan area (Alcochete, Almada, Amadora, Barreiro, Cascais, Lisboa, Loures, Mafra, Moita, Montijo, Odivelas, Oeiras, Palmela, Seixal, Sesimbra, Setúbal, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira).
