Lisbon Metropolitan Council meets on January 27th

The Lisbon Metropolitan Council will meet ordinarily on January 27 (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. at the headquarters of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

At the meeting, which will take place in person, the following work will be carried out:

" Deliberation on the first and second amendments to the budget for the 2022 accounting year (budget documents carried over from 2021);

" Approval of the appointment of representatives of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area in the entities, bodies, commissions and other structures in which the metropolitan area participates;

" Consideration of the 2022 activity plan and budget of TML - Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa, the second amendment to the program contract and the mandate contracts to be signed with TML, the submission of authorization for the distribution of costs and the assumption of multi-annual commitments, and the approval of the appointment of the representative of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area at the TML General Assembly;

" Providing information on the activity of the Lisbon Metropolitan Executive Committee and communicating other matters of interest to the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

The Metropolitan Council, according to the statute of inter-municipal entities, is the decision-making body of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, made up of the mayors of the 18 municipalities that make up the metropolitan area (Alcochete, Almada, Amadora, Barreiro, Cascais, Lisboa, Loures, Mafra, Moita, Montijo, Odivelas, Oeiras, Palmela, Seixal, Sesimbra, Setúbal, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira).
