Lisbon Metropolitan Council meets in person on March 31st

The Lisbon Metropolitan Council will meet ordinarily on March 31 (Thursday), at 10:30 a.m., at the headquarters of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. At the meeting, which will take place in person, the following work will be carried out:

" Decision approving the 4th amendment to the budget for the 2022 accounting year of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area;

" Appreciation of the corporate governance, management and accounts reports for the 2021 financial year of TML - Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa, the proposal for the appropriation of profits, and the opinion of the sole auditor, and to mandate the representative of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area at the General Meeting to approve them;

" Appreciation of the new fare system for Carris Metropolitana;

" Took note of TML's 4th quarter report;

" Presentation of the state of play regarding the PRR - Disadvantaged Communities;

" Providing information on the activity of the Lisbon Metropolitan Executive Committee, and communicating other matters of interest to the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

The Metropolitan Council, according to the statute of inter-municipal entities, is the decision-making body of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, made up of the mayors of the 18 municipalities that make up the metropolitan area (Alcochete, Almada, Amadora, Barreiro, Cascais, Lisboa, Loures, Mafra, Moita, Montijo, Odivelas, Oeiras, Palmela, Seixal, Sesimbra, Setúbal, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira).
