Articulation of common policies

The Lisbon Metropolitan Area, in conjunction with its municipalities, has set up a number of working groups in areas of metropolitan interest to share experiences and knowledge and to articulate common policies.

The working groups' decisions serve to support the activities of the executive committee and the metropolitan council.

The working groups, coordinated by a member of the metropolitan executive committee, are composed of political representatives and technical experts from the 18 municipalities in the Lisbon metropolitan area.
